Bow View Manor is located in Montgomery along the Bow River in the northwest quadrant of Calgary. Bow View Manor provides service for the elderly population of Calgary. We have a number of residents who owned homes, raised their families and retired in Montgomery and surrounding area. The park-like setting along the Bow River is very appealing to residents raised in rural areas. Bow View Manor provides care of the frail, elderly, cognitively impaired and physically challenged residents.
Bow View Nursing Home was established in 1961 and has provided excellence in long-term care ever since. With the completion of our addition and upgrading program in 1993, we became Bow View Manor one of the finest long-term care facilities in North America. Bow View Manor has 193 beds of private and semi-private rooms and meets or exceeds all standards set by the Canadian Council on Health Facilities Accreditation.
We are dedicated to providing comprehensive long-term care in an environment which responds to the needs of residents and their families.
We believe in establishing, achieving and evaluating standards of care that maintain and enhance the quality of life enjoyed by our residents.
We provide a holistic approach addressing the physical, emotional, intellectual, social and spiritual needs of each resident. A comprehensive and integrated program of care is formulated by the interdisciplinary team, resident and family. Community agencies and consultation services are utilized when necessary.
We strive to remain current, progressive and innovative within a health care system that is ever changing.
